How nebx handles your data

This page covers nebx.ai and its subdomains: learn, qr, json, md, html and s. Last updated October 26, 2026.

The tools work in your browser

The QR code generator (qr.nebx.ai), JSON formatter (json.nebx.ai), Markdown preview (md.nebx.ai) and HTML preview (html.nebx.ai) process what you type on your own device. That content is not uploaded to nebx.

• The Markdown and HTML previews save your draft in your browser's local storage so a refresh doesn't lose it. It stays on your device; clear your browser's site data to remove it.
• The HTML preview runs your code in a sandboxed frame that cannot read nebx pages, cookies or storage.
• Microsoft Clarity, described below, is set to mask the editors and outputs of these tools, so their content is not included in session recordings.

Short links (s.nebx.ai)

To make a short link work, s.nebx.ai stores the destination URL, when the link was created and how many times it was opened. If you report a link, the report stores the link and the reason you give.

Your IP address is used briefly in memory to limit how many links one network can create, and it is not stored with your links. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs.

Analytics

We use two services to understand which pages and tools are useful:

• Google Analytics 4 records pages visited, approximate location, device and browser, and actions such as clicks, scrolling and tool use (for example "formatted JSON" or "downloaded PNG"). It never receives what you type into the tools.
• Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, including clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays and heatmaps. Tool editors and outputs are masked.

Both services use cookies or similar storage. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent first: Google Analytics does not store cookies until you agree, and your choice is passed to Clarity through its consent setting. Where that applies, a "Privacy settings" link in the footer lets you change your choice.

You can also block these services in your browser, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and read Google's privacy policy and Microsoft's privacy statement.

Hosting

nebx.ai and s.nebx.ai are hosted on Hostinger. The learn, qr, json, md and html subdomains are hosted on GitHub Pages. These providers process requests to serve the sites.
